Congrats to Billy, Luis and the entire management and staff at Score for another successful year and wishing them many more to come! After Score I headed to Discotekka to hear DJ Theresa and see Madame LaQueer from RuPaul’s Drag Race perform. Hot Stuff

Congratulation to David Richardson who was elected to the State Legislature to represent District 113. This marks a tremendous victory for the LGBT community not only in Miami-Dade County but also throughout the State of Florida. Florida’s journey to total equality, including marriage equality, is far from over, but David’s victory is a big step forward in the right direction!

Equality Forum, a national and international lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization reported that a record 477 (95.4%) of the 2012 FORTUNE 500 Companies voluntarily include sexual orientation in their employment non-discrimination policies. (In 2004, there were 323 (64.6%) of the FORTUNE 500 Companies that provided sexual orientation workplace protection).

This is HOT

Its summer time, which always seems to be the time wine tastes better. The Gallo family has been making quality wines for American families since 1933. For four generations, Gallo Family Vineyards has been dedicated to providing some of the best tasting wines at an affordable price.

Their Chardonnay is medium-bodied with citrus notes and hints of vanilla and pairs nicely with seafood dishes such as halibut with a mango and pineapple salsa to highlight the tropical fruit notes in this wine.

Their Pink Moscato is light-bodied with hints of red berries and orange. The light citrus flavors in this Pink Moscato pair nicely with sweet desserts or cheeses such as mahón and manchego.

Their Merlot is a smooth easy to drink wine with black cherry and ripe plum flavors. This Merlot’s fruit notes complement hearty flavors in meat dishes such as carne asada or homemade winter stews.

Their Moscato is refreshing with flavors of peach and tropical fruit. The sweetness in this Moscato balances the flavors in a wide variety of spicy dishes and the peach notes are a nice match for many soft and hard cheeses.

Their Sangria is a blend of fruity red wine with fresh citrus flavors of orange, lemon and lime.

With its citrus flavors, this Sangria is a refreshing match for fiery foods like chorizo or a pork bocadillo.

Gallo Family Vineyards offers the promise of flavor. In the Gallo family they back their wines. If you are not 100% satisfied with their wine, they would like you to let them know at GalloFamily.com. You can also contact them at Facebook.com/GalloFamilyVineyards or
