– Pienso que la mejor cosa en la Florida es la playa y la vida que uno puede tener, pienso que es diferente a los otros estados de usa.

¿Qué cualidades buscas en tu pareja?
Las cualidades que busco en verdad en una pareja esta lejos de ser de la mayoría de los gays. Busco alguien que me respete antes que nada… Un compañero, un amigo y alguien que sepa que quiere en su vida y conmigo… Me gustan los hombres centrados y maduros. Alguien que cuide de mi y yo de el.
¿Qué haces en tu tiempo libre?
Voy al gym, al cine, o ver una buena película en casa.
¿Cuál es tu secreto para mantenerte en forma?
Pues en verdad siempre que me preguntan cual es mi secreto respondo lo mismo… ¡No tengo secreto! Simplemente hago mi rutina en el gym, como sano, no consumo ni azúcar ni sal, tampoco lácteos y por las noches no consumo carbohidratos. No me gusta comer mal, claro hay veces que me doy mis gustos como todos… Pero nunca estoy en una dieta estricta, simplemente me acostumbre a comer sano. Pero también en parte es la genética.
Si pudieras visitar cualquier lugar en el mundo, ¿dónde irías?
Si elegiría un lugar, erigiría una isla para disfrutar de la tranquilidad del lugar en donde no haya más gente que yo y la persona que este conmigo. Me gusta de disfrutar mi espacio.
¿Qué haces para ganar la vida?
Para ganarme la vida en Miami trabajo como modelo, en mi país estudié contabilidad…
¿Cuál es la mejor cosa sobre tu trabajo?
La mejor cosa sobre el modelaje pienso que es las puertas que siempre se te abren en cualquier lugar debido que siempre estas conociendo gente y a través de ellos surgen siempre trabajos.
¿Tienes algunas palabras de inspiración para los jóvenes latinos que quieren salir del closet o están ya haciendo el proceso de salir?
No soy de dar consejos pero pienso que cada uno tiene que vivir su vida y no puede reprimirse porque para cuando uno se da cuenta pasó toda su vida y no lo disfrutó. La vida de cada persona es única y nadie tiene porque juzgar sobre otra persona… Aprendí eso con el correr del tiempo y forme mi carácter así. Y hoy día, soy lo que soy por eso… No dejo que nadie me trate mal, porque se cuanto valgo como persona y creo que la gente aún tiene mucho el pre concepto sobre la gente gay.

I’m from Paraguay. I’ve lived in Miami for 2 years.
What’s the best thing about living in south Florida?
I think that the best thing in Florida is the beach and the life you can have here. I think it’s different from other states in the US.
Are you single or do you have a partner?
I have a boyfriend.
What qualities do you look for in a partner?
The qualities that I’m really looking for in a partner are far from what most gays guys are looking for. Above all, I’m looking for someone who respects me. A companion, a friend, and someone who knows what he wants in life and from me. I like guys who are centered and mature, someone who can take care of me while I take care of him.
What do you do in your free time?
I go to the gym and to the movies, or I watch a good movie at home.
What’s your secret to staying in shape?
Well, I have the same answer every time I’m asked about my secret to stay in shape…I don’t have a secret. I just follow my routine at the gym, I eat healthy, don’t eat sugar or lactate and at night I don’t eat carbs. I don’t like to eat bad stuff, of course there are times when I give in to my desires like everyone, but I am never on a strict diet. I have just gotten used to eating healthy foods. But, in part it’s also genetic.
If you could visit anyplace in the world, where would you go?
If I could choose a place, I would choose an island to enjoy the calm in a place where there was no one else besides person who is with me. I like to enjoy my space.
What do you do for a living?
In Miami, I work as a model, in my country, I studied Accounting.
What’s the best part of your job?
I think the best part of modeling is the doors that are always opening because you are always meeting people. Through those new connections, you get other jobs.
Do you have any advice for young people Latinos who want to come out or who are already in the process of coming out?
I’m not really one to give advice but I think that everyone has to live their own life and repress oneself because when you finally realize it, life has passed by and you didn’t enjoy it. Everyone’s life is unique and no one should judge other people. I learned this with the passing of time it shaped my character. I’m who I am today because of this belief. I don’t let anyone mistreat me because I know my worth as a person and I think that people still have a lot of preconceptions about gay people.
