Friday, October 30

Out of all the Halloween-related events going on in the South Florida LGBT community, the SAVE-Halloween-15_flyermuch-loved SAVE Halloween Ball is definitely near the top of the list, especially when one takes into account how many people wait for the chance to dress up and have fun at this gala, one of SAVE’s biggest fundraisers. This year, the gala turns 21 and Magic City Casino (450 NW 37th Ave., Miami) will be the host venue. The theme, in tune with the choice of venue, is “Your luck runs out…” Join the party on Friday, October 30, which will begin at 9 p.m. and run until 3 a.m.

Hundreds of people are expected to dress up in their fanciest and/or spookiest Halloween attire when they go to the Magic City Casino for this year’s Halloween Ball. The cocktails will be flowing all night long, thanks to the generous support of sponsors Bacardi and Grey Goose. During the party, people will be treated to a number of craft cocktails using sponsored brands such as Martini Prosecco, all of the Grey SAVE-Halloween-15_copy2Goose flavored vodkas, Bacardi Superior, Bacardi Limon, Bombay Sapphire, Dewar’s White Label and Tequila Cazadores.

For much of the evening, attendees will get to dance to some of the hottest dance beats South Florida DJs have to offer. The DJs who will be spinning for your enjoyment at the SAVE Halloween Ball are Bill James, Alex Ramos and Citizen Jane. In addition, there will be a number of live performances, featuring an entertainment roster that includes Tiffany Fantasia, TP Lords and Fantasia Royale.

Think long and hard about your choice of costume, because SAVE will also be presenting a costume contest during the event. Whether you decide to go for an elegant look, a sexy look, or a downright scary ensemble, be sure to go all out, because the top winners will receive cash and/or prizes. Over $1000 in cash and prizes will be given to the costumes that the judges feel are the best.
