 All I can say is: “HOLY HALLOWEEN BATMAN!” This week is full of Halloween events and costume contests, and, as you read below, you’ll realize that I’m not kidding. The way I see it is; if you play your cards right and come up with some creative costumes, you can win some of these contests and actually get your rent paid. LOL Everyone is offering some kind of cash prize so girl, get your drag on! Throw on some hot pumps and as RuPaul says: “You Better Work.”

 I am just arriving home from the 5th annual Hotspots Holiday Celebration that was held in South Florida. It was so nice to see how much support we had from our community, advertisers and friends. What I think is equally as nice is that we’re going to host the 2nd annual Central Florida celebration on Monday, December 17.

HAPPY ORLANDO PRIDE EVERYONE! Yes, its Pride week in Orlando and my column is dedicated to all of the events going on in Orlando celebrating Pride week. There are so very many events going on that I couldn't possibly list all of them so be sure to flip through the Central Florida section of the very same Hotspots you are reading right now for a more detailed information. While enjoying your weekend here in Orlando, be sure to remember what PRIDE is all about and what sacrifices our brothers and sisters before us had to make so that we could openly and proudly walk around and celebrate the fact that we are parents, professionals and every day citizens and we are PROUD of it!
