So, did everyone enjoy both Pride in Saint Pete and their July 4th? I know I did, that’s for sure! The streets of GaYbor were full of a whole lot of everything and then all of a sudden BOOM, the fireworks started…and boy were they nice! Now for this week, with so much coming up to do in Central Florida, I honestly don’t know where to begin so read on everyone for the goings on so that you can decide for yourself where to go..I mean, I can’t make all the decisions for you...

So now we find ourselves in that lull between GayDays and Saint Pete Pride, but hey...that's ok, enjoy it while you can because once pride gets here its go, go, go! Take these few weeks to explore some places you haven't been before. Take a day trip to kayak and swim with the Manatees in Northern Florida or just play right here in your own backyard. I mean, we do live in Central Florida and we have more to do right here at home than most do. I'll be out and about and I look forward to seeing everyone out and having a great time!  IT'S HERE! The reason for the diets and the crazy workouts for the GAYEST of all gay weekends is finally upon us...yes, I'm talking about GAY DISNEY! Now, I know I usually like to ramble on (that's what us Jewish folk like to do, lol) but no, not this time as there is way too much for you to take in from my column this week.  The summer season is almost here and along with the season comes a plethora of gay events AND a slew of diets and gym workouts. How do I know this you ask? Well, I'm ecstatic to say that with the help of my new trainer Dan Long with Kill Mode Training Company, I've lost 10 pounds! Now, everyone who knows me knows that this is my annual GayDay's regiment, but to be honest, I really like how it's making me feel...and look of course, lol.  The most famous weekend of the year, in Central Florida, has yet again come and gone. New friends were made and old acquaintances were rekindled. It's such an amazing feeling to get to GayDays on the first day and such a sad feeling to see it all go away for yet another year. I would like to thank everyone who came out to the Hotspots booth at The GayDays expo to say hi to me, it was great to see you all! Penny, Beverly, Chris and the rest of the GayDays staff, my hat is off to you for pulling off yet another fantastic year. Now, if you'll excuse me, I am going to order a pizza and eat it all by myself..THE GAYDAYS DIET IS OVER!

This week is full of so many new and exciting events both here in Tampa as well as Orlando.  Okay, so last week I spent time with my friends Craig and Larry in Orlando as we shared a traditional Passover Seder. Later that weekend, my family and I enjoyed a great Easter brunch together. Yes, I know I'm Jewish, but hey, Easter is a wonderful holiday and everyone loves a great Easter Brunch and Easter Eggs!
