Hey everyone! Wow, what a week this is going to be! I've given you some great ideas below to help you in planning out your social calendar so you shouldn't have a problem finding something to do.  I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of you for not only reading and supporting the craziness in my column every week for the past 2 and a half years, but for supporting Hotspots Magazine as a whole. All of you have made Hotspots the most widely read GLBT publication in Central Florida and for that I thank you.  There is so much to see and do this week in Central Florida that I really had a hard time fitting them all into my column. From Tampa to Orlando there are famous drag queens, PJ parties and so much more so my advice to you, plan your week carefully because if you time everything just right you'll be one hell of a social butterfly, just like me..lol. By the way, we are looking for photographers in both the Orlando and Tampa markets so if you or you know of anyone looking for a fun job making some extra cash and have them send me an email, you never know what could happen!

 Things are really happening here in Central Florida. Between the Equality Florida Gala in Ybor City, Miss Diana Ross and Sherry Vine in Saint Petersburg and an issusions show in Orlando there's no real reason to be spending your time anywhere else but right here! OK everyone, take a deep breath. . .now breath out. Gasparilla is officially over for now --the knight parade will be here in Ybor next week! This week is Valentine's Day! spend some time out with friends and family and that special someone. Remember, you don't have to have a boyfriend or a girlfriend to enjoy Valentine's.  Save Short, Sweet and to the point. Keep your head held high and never compromise the person that you are. Remember, there will ALWAYS be someone out there trying to take you down a notch but if you stay steadfast to your beliefs and not let their selfish motives get in your way you'll always come out one step ahead. Do good to others and they will do good to you, do bad to others...you know the rest! It's all about respect and keeping your word because the end of the day, that's all you really have... isn't it?

 Okay, so Moss, Raina and I made our way down to South Beach last week to meet up with our friend Laura and her GF Jordana for Winter Party 2012 and all I can say is - AMAZING! We ran into Cory from RISE and Will from Atlanta along with Poly and his crew as well a bunch of other friends. Money was raised for a great cause and there was so much fun had by everyone. I really need to send a quick shout out and a thank you to Scott Holland, Associate Publisher for Hotspots, for making it possible! So now that Winter Party has come and gone the countdown to GayDays 2012 has begun -- and so does that damn yearly diet I go on, UGH! As always, until next week. . .much love to you all!  I want to send a huge congratulations out to Tampa's own Alissa Summers! As you all know, Alissa was in this season of RuPaul's Drag Race. Unfortunately, she did not win, but trust me, she made us PROUD! Alissa, you'll always be a winner in our hearts right here in Tampa and you were amazing! So keep going girl, because you made us proud! Oh, by the way, boys, the 4 month countdown for GayDays has begun, so start those diets and remember, "as soon as you feel like you're going to pass out, eat a cube of cheese" LOL!
