I want to take a few minutes to congratulate Carrie West on a fantastic campaign! We sure did put up a fight. Please know that the race for City Council might be over and where you might not have won that race, you're always a winner in our eyes!

Thursday, March 10th

Blaze Adonis, in association with Revolution Nightclub in Orlando, proudly presents Spring Break Xplosion 2011. They are going to be having a sexy swimsuit contest where the winner takes home $100. Shantell D'Marc0, Kitana Infiniti, Kai'Ja Adonis and special guest Blade Mathews provide the entertainment while DJ Joanie provides the sounds. There's no cover until 11 p.m. and for those who are 21+ and those who come out in aswimsuit, you'll get in for free until midnight. This event is sponsored by WET lube.

Friday, March 11th

Streetcar Charlie's has gone through a major transformation! They boast a new menu, new look, new chef and new management - even a new name - they are now known as Streetcars. Tonight and every Friday night, Streetcars hosts Socialize, a new night to do just what the name refers to with different types of specials along with a cabaret-styled drag show featuring The House of Cox.

Tonight and every Friday night through April, The Flamingo Resort and Avando Productions hosts Flamingo-Male, a calendar model competition where the winner has a chance at winning $5,000. Tonight, St. Pete Pride presents Taste of Pride at the brand new Dali Museum; this is the first and one of the most important fundraisers for St. Pete Pride. This tasting event will be showcasing some of the very best restaurants in Saint Petersburg all in the setting of the famous artwork of Salvador Dali. Tonight is the annual Saint Patrick's Day Parade in Ybor City. The parade route comes right down 7th avenue and G. Bar provides a great place to watch the parade right from their windows. Tonight, RISE Sundays presents The Roof Is On Fire! - a themed event in celebration of the re-opening of the RISE Rooftop! The night will feature showers, near naked men, HOT dancers and YOU all on the rooftop under the stars of Tampa Bay. Tonight and each Monday Georgie's Alibi in St Petersburg is the place for the official watch party for RuPaul's Drag Race Season 3. Come out and join Alexis Mateo herself at 10 p.m. immediately following the show, as she hosts a drag contest where first prize takes home $150 in cash.
