Thursday was the GLBX quarterly luncheon at the very prestigious Tower Club in downtown Fort Lauderdale. There was a wonderful presentation by Jaime Yordan-Frau from Integro Success Unlimited on how everyone can unleash their best potential. On Saturday, Julian Cavazos hosted the 1st annual reverse Quinceanera pageant at the Sanctuary Church which was a benefit for Sunserve. They had some really cute performances and some really interesting drag queens. Let's just say some men should stay men, although some seemed a bit too comfortable...LOL!

This past weekend I headed up to our gay neighboring city of Orlando for the annual Orlando Gay Pride festival and parade which is always fun time. I arrived late Thursday night and checked in to the beautiful time shares at the Parliament house. A week ago Wednesday was the first annual Miss Solare Coliseum Florida pageant, which had 7 very qualified contestants. The place was packed and the entertainment was plentiful. In the end Denise Brown was 2nd runner up, Victoria Grantty was 1st runner up and the 1st Miss Solare Coliseum is Maite West. Congrats to Maite, all the contestants...

A week ago Monday was the 5th annual Bartenders Boxers and Briefs Auction at Bill's, which is a benefit for Tuesday's Angels. As is the case every year, the bar was packed and many sexy bartenders sold their undies for this good cause. At press time somewhere between 12,000 and 13,000 was raised.
