One of the hottest names today in men's underwear is designer Andrew Christian. His name may not be as established as many some of his competitors', but his label has become a “must-have” in every gay man's underwear drawer. Andrew started his urban-inspired designs in 1997 and has become a leading designer of underwear, swimwear, gymwear, tee shirts and accessories.

“I am inspired by many different things. Sometimes it can be a fabric, or color combination. Usually it's just a feeling I have of where fashion is going to be heading in the next year. I have to work on my lines six months to one year before it is actually released to the market, so I always need to be ahead of the curve.” Andrew told me when I asked him what his inspirations are for his various designs.

“If I wasn't a fashion designer I would probably be an architect. I really like design so much and that I think I could find a great outlet in architecture. I would also love to be a deejay. I have such a passion for music.”
Whether Andrew would have become an architect or deejay, we should all be glad he chose designing upscale men's underwear because there's hardly anything more sexy than watching some guy drop his ACs right before your eyes.
