2008-09 Pageant System Off To a Promising Start
The pageant system, especially in Miami, holds a very tender spot in our hearts. With the Miss Divine 2008 pageant a huge success, filled with fresh faces and talents, it was only the start of a very promising pageant season. The Miss Latina World Pageant is set to take place in July 2008 in Downtown Miami at Discotekka. Also in the works are the Mr. and Miss South Florida Continential Pageants, set to take place in May of 2008. The F.I. (female impersonator) Miss Southern Icon pageant is set to take place at Club Azucar on the 30th of April at 9pm, with appearances by TP Lords (the reigning F.I. Miss Florida at Large), Victoria Grantty (the reigning Miss Latina World and Miss Noche Latina), and Vegas Dion (Resident Diva at Discotekka). Contestants will make presentations in the following simple categories: Creative Pres-entation and Swimwear, Evening Gown, Talent, and Question and Answer. With a $2,500 in cash and prizes and an opportunity to become the next F.I. Miss Universal Icon, this pageant is sure to include both fresh faces as well as experienced female impersonators. Care Resource Continues the Momentum with Dining Out for Life
