Food Feature; Rosies Bar & Grill
06/26/08
“Sit back and enjoy… let me do all the work.” The words that spanned our servers T-shirt perfectly describe the fun dining experience that is Rosie's Bar & Grill. From the moment you pull into the complimentary valet parking lot to the moment you leave the friendly staff at Rosie's will treat you like a king (or queen) while you enjoy an incomparable casual dining experience.
Rosie's open-air atmosphere is a tropical paradise with kitschy memorabilia and witty signs strewn about for your enjoyment. Umbrellas on the patio make sure Rosie's has got you covered so don't fret over the choice of dining inside or out. The full bar is centered to insure convenience so you can relax, cool off, enjoy a cocktail and the entertainment, whether it's music, music videos or other entertainment on the plasma screens above the bar.
Come hungry. Rosie's has a delightful menu with catchy selections like the Young Ranch Hand, Another Saturday Night Alone, the Trojan Wrap and the Left One. The seemingly tame choice of Big Chicken Nachos, a plate stacked with multi-colored corn chips topped with melted cheese, grilled chicken and jalapeno peppers might just make you wonder why you ordered anything else. Don't stop at the appetizer! You'll find the lunch and dinner selections live up to their entertaining names.
You may find it difficult to order the Young Ranch Hand with a straight face, but it's all part of the fun (don't be too disappointed when it's not served by a topless, hunky young man in overalls). The tender chicken, soft buns and zesty sauce make this sandwich live up to its name. Rosie's also offers great burgers on the menu, or you can order from a variety of toppings that let you make it your own creation. Onion rings, fries, and a seasonal vegetable are available as sides if you can't handle the excitement of Rosie's rice, creamy cole slaw, Roasted Rosemary Clooney Potatoes or the Loaded Baked Potato Salad.
Rosie's Bar & Grill offers such a variety that one visit just isn't enough. Make your way back to experience the full lunch and dinner menu. The Sunday brunch menu has a lot to offer, too. The food and service are great and the décor will keep you looking over your shoulder to ready signs such as “I'm on Prozac, Rogaine and Viagra…” You'll have to dine on the patio on the Wilton Drive side for the punch line on this sign – or you can find it at the bottom of the page.
Rosie's Bar & Grill is easy to find at 2449 Wilton Drive. Call 954-563-0123 for more information.
