Miami Cover Model David Boizart

NEW!
09/04/08

We found David Boizart, the fourth in a series of five FIRST ever Miami Cover Model Contest winners, at Score on May 20th. He is a native of the Dominican Republic and was born October 25th. Would you like to learn more about David? Read on…

David is the guy that we're all jealous of: great body and smile, awesome looks and skin like silk—and all at age 31! He does not diet, tells us of his love for sushi, cheeseburgers and pizza, but does hit the gym six times a week. He gives the dance floor some credit, too. “I am always out with my friends at Score or Halo, tearing the dance floor up. You'd be surprised as to how good of a shape this will keep you in” David told us. He went onto mention that living in Miami has taught him, “Beauty comes with hard work and not with ease,” and then continued by saying, “The perception of what friends are here in Miami falls short of my personal expectations.” He dearly cherishes and appreciates his friends and typically spends his spare time with them at the beach, the movies or just out on the town.

What may surprise you about David (if you're not already stunned) is that he does body work on cars as part of his family's business here in Miami, with a professional aspiration of someday opening his very own body shop. David's past is just as great as his present. Of his childhood experiences he vividly remembers his first time playing baseball, getting accidentally hit in the head with a baseball bat. Despite that seemingly traumatic experience David still plays baseball to this day. That perseverance translated into the exploration of his sexuality. In our conversation with David he mentioned that he was married for quite some time while he struggled with his sexuality. Upon moving to Miami, however, the struggle became less conflicting and more “as a matter of fact and truth” for him. He is now at peace with who he is and speaks of his lifelong goal to, well, live long. “I would like to live to be 100 years old.”

Okay, so I have held out and stalled you all enough. David is very single, though he did mention that he is dating. David's conversation with us revealed that he doesn't necessarily have a type, and is more into getting to know someone.

“You have friends that care about you. You cannot choose your family, but you can choose your friends, and you can make your friends your family. Always remember that you are beautiful
inside and out. Never forget these things.”
