On Friday, February 29th, Winter Party presents the Uniform Party at Space in Miami. Spinning at this uber-event will be deejays Manny Lehman, Brett Henrichsen, Greg Drescher and Harmonix. Presale tickets are available at www.WinterParty.org. The annual Winter Party is produced by and a benefit for the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force. Space is located at 34 NE 11 Street in Miami.

Downtown Miami’s on fire every Saturday night at Discotekka when resident deejay, Jarell spins his best for your dancing and listening pleasure. The evening is hosted by Milancita with shows by Vegas Dion. There is a $5 cover before midnight, $15 between midnight and 1 am and $15 afterwards. 18-20 year olds are welcome to come in to party but you must be 21 to drink.

 

Everything and anything is possible at Azucar. Thursday’s feature, “Deal or No Deal” with Samantha Love, Amanda West (Miss Azucar 2008), and Shanaya Bright. Fridays are the Noche de Locura con Las Divas del Jacuzzi y Mariloly and Saturdays Arroz con Mango with Josie Love and special guests. On Sundays you will be amazed with their Noche de Cabaret with Marytrini y Las Divas del Jacuzzi. Azucar is always your best choice from Thursdays through Sundays. It’s the hotspot that you will find yourself dancing to Salsa, Merenge, Bachata, and house music ‘til you sweat. Score is always the party place on South Beach. On Tuesday, February 26th, Planeta Macho, the hottest Latin party in Miami Beach, presents Showgirls, a spectacular show produced by Adriano Martena with music by D.J. George Ferrero with Javier Sainz on the drums. Meanwhile, the Latin Evolution is happening on the second floor with D. J. Ruben playing hip-hop, reggae, retro and Latin music.

 

Score also has a tremendous winter lineup. On Wednesday, February 27th, “The Living Room” with D.J. Mike Petez, there is no cover. On Thursday, February 29th, Miami’s hottest Friday Night, featuring celebrity deejay/producer, Tracy Young with D.J. Ruben spinning on the second level. On Saturday, March 1st it’s “One World Saturdays” with deejays Bruno and Mike Perez and hosted by The Penny Backboys. Be sure to add Score to your “Must-Do” list this weekend.

 
Forbidden Broadway

New York’s longest-running musical comedy revue spoofs Broadway’s biggest hits, including “Les Miz”, “Wicked”, “Phantom of the Opera”, “The Lion King”, “Hairspray”, “Spamalot”, and Avenue Q. “Forbidden Broadway will take place at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County and is presented by Broadway Across America” The show runs from runs from March 25 - April 13 in the Carnival Studio Theater at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. Show times are Tuesday through Friday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 5 and 8 p.m., and Sundays at 2 and 5 p.m. Tickets (reserved seating) are $45 for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings and $50 for Friday evening, both Saturday performances and the Sunday matinee, not including applicable service and handling charges. Tickets are available beginning Sunday, February 17 and can be purchased in person at The Arsht Center Box Office, by phone at 305-949-6722, or online at www.arshtcenter.org
