Week of March 6thFor the Art Lover in All of Us
This Saturday, March 8th, artist Frank Ciliberti will be exhibiting his painting at Circa28. This new bar/gallery has gained the reputation as the meeting place for all artists and art aficionados and is located in the Wynwood Art District. This exhibit of Ciliberti’s art is a selection of his oil on canvas art and is titled, “Something You Don’t Know About Me” and has been designed to tell the story of Ciliberti’s career and private life. “My passion is to express emotions through color.” Ciliberti said concerning the exhibit and who credits his mother for his inspiration. “She is no longer here on earth, but I still strive to create beauty to make her proud.” “Something You Don't Know About Me” will also have an open party sponsored by Peroni and is a chance to get to know the artist. The open party will be held on Saturday, March 8th at 7 pm. Circa28 is located at 2826 N. Miami Avenue in Miami.
Club Body Center, the gentleman’s health club and spa is ready to welcome you throughout the week with a lineup of fun and memorable times. Tuesdays and Thursdays are Buddy and Blackout Nights. You never know what will happen when those lights go out. On Fridays and Saturdays there is free poolside cocktails from 10 pm to midnight and a free poolside lunch every Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm. For your reading pleasure and to help you find those hard-to-find books, there is a Lambda Passages Bookstore located on the premises. 18 to 19 year olds are given free 4 hour lockers 24/7.
On Friday, March 14th at Twist, they are holding a Spring Break Kick-Off Party with an underwear fashion show starting at 1 am sharp with Ginch Gonch Underwear giveaways. This party is being presented by Workstylz.com which is just one stop on its 8 cities in 8 weeks tour. There will be custom video presentations, tons of giveaways, gorgeous BoyParty.com dancers and music by D.J. Seth Gold. Looks like a great start to spring and a even greater evening at Twist, where there’s never a cover and always a groove.
South Florida’s number-one party on Saturday night is at Discotekka with the pumping sounds of deejay/producer Jarell. The evening will feature special shows by Vegas Dion and is hosted by Milancita.com. There is a $5 cover before midnight then it turns to $15 from midnight to 1 am. Deejay/Producer, Hector Fonseca (*69 Records) will be at Score on Friday, March 14th for their “Evolution Fridays”. Friday nights at Score have earned the reputation as being the hottest night in Miami and they seem to live up to that reputation week after week. That same evening, Latin Evolution will be upstairs on the second floor at D.J. Ruben plays hip-hop, raggaetton, retro and Latin.
