Boardwalk Bar Ft Lauderdale

Week of March 13th

White Party Wrap-Up “Under the Stars”

If you were’'t “Under the Stars” on March 1st, you missed out on quite a time. Imagine dancing for hours in what may seem to be a lush, tropical garden to the beats of superstar deejay, “Team Rosabel” at an event planned and carefully promoted by one of South Florida’s finest promoters, Hilton Wolman. Imagine never wanting the evening to end as you enjoy the company of close friends or that special someone on a starry Saturday evening. Think for a second of loosing yourself in an eclectic mix of music that starts with Danny Tenaglia and transcends into one of Rhianna’s hottest songs, “Don’t Stop the Music”. And when the music did stop, you wanted more. “Under the Stars” was a very tasteful event. As always, Hilton Wolman did a fabulous job of making sure that everything was just right; from the décor to the placement of the bars and, in all, everyone had quite a time.

“Winter Beach Party”

Giveaways. That seemed to be the over-riding theme of the fifteenth annual “Winter Beach Party”, the event that started it all. From free sun tan lotions and massage giveaways from Macy’s to tank-tops from Manhunt.com, underwear from Papi and too many more to mention, the giveaways were endless. The music was excellent as is what has become the norm from D.J. Joe Gauthreaux. Everyone was on their feet and dancing in the sand. There was a sea of skin as far as the eye could see. And included in that sea where some of the hottest guys from around the country and those that made a special trip from Europe.

Winter Party “Tea Dance”
The wind down for the weekend began at the Tea Dance. Ascension presented this event and it included the return of D.J. David Knapp spinning Alegria and Mary J. Blige and everything in between. You were sure to have had a moment to finally breathe from the tumultuous whirlwind weekend of events poolside with a drink at the well-known National Hotel on Miami Beach. Some walked over from the beach party, some went home and changed into something more casual and some came from the comfort of their homes, but one thing was clear, everyone came in search of a great time and I'm sure they all got that.

Staying for the Party
I was surprised to find out how many guys were staying a couple of extra days to recuperate from the Winter Party and many were staying at the Circa 39 Hotel. They really appreciated the fine service and amenities this boutique hotel had to offer. They were able to keep their bodies in shape using their fitness room or get a massage to relax their muscles after a long day of dancing. They loved the rooms and the comfortable beds where they were able to take a quick nap before heading
