Modern Living
Brian Owen, who opened Zen Living in Sept. 2006, has done it again. His brand-new Modern Living opened March 1 in the Egg & You Plaza and a formal Grand Opening is planned for April. The store features modern furniture and accessories in wood, leather, chrome, brass and contemporary art by highly-renowned local artists. Brian noticed that his customers were interested in the contemporary aspects of Zen Living, which has a definite Asian influence, so he opened Modern Living, which features a more contemporary and modern style. Many of those who have visited Zen Living love the atmosphere and experience there and Modern Living is quickly living up to that standard. Stop in soon, say hi to Brian and staff and check out his great selection, you too will love the Zen/Modern Living experience!

By now many of you have heard about Michael “La La” Brown’s death up in West Palm Beach, where he was a fixture at H. G. Roosters for many years. Michael was a larger than life member of the community, and was known and loved by many in South Florida. My condolences to his family, work associates and many friends. He will be greatly missed.
