3rd Annual Summerfest Arrives Aug. 20 to Aug. 22
The only gay weekend event of the summer returns!
For decades almost every major destination city in the country has hosted some sort of gay weekend celebration during the summer, with the exception of Miami Beach. Luckily that all changed two years ago with the arrival of Summerfest. Last year, over 1,000 people participated in the weekend’s festivities, imbibing on complimentary cocktails, moving to the beats of international DJs, and enjoying incredible shows by world-renowned entertainers.
From Friday, August 20 to Sunday, August 22, the producers of Miami’s largest GLBT weekend event, Winter Party, and Pink Dollar Enterprises will work together to create a fantastic weekend of stiff cocktails, over-the-top entertainment, and sexy fashions during Summerfest ‘10.
The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and some of Miami Beach’s great venues will come together to create the hottest event of the summer. Summer Fest ’10 will include five events: Summerfest Kick-off Event and Shopping Spree at Creative Male, a late night dance event at Score, a Sunday Drag Brunch and Summer Time T at The Palace, and, of course, the Summerfest Pool Party at the Hotel Victor, which is the heart and soul of Summerfest ’10.
Summerfest Pool Party tickets are currently on sale: $25 in advance for general admission and $35 for VIP. Each ticket includes two free Finlandia cocktails.
Summerfest Party Saver Passes are also available: $30 in advance for General Admission and $40 in advance for VIP. The Summerfest Party Saver Pass includes a ticket to both the Summerfest Pool Party and Summer Storm at Score, and two free Finlandia cocktails at the pool party.
