Dear readers,

First and foremost, Latino Boys Magazine would like to share its sentiments with those that have been impacted by the recent earthquakes in Haiti.  We all know someone who has been impacted and as we enter the month of love, it’s important to share it with those that need our help the most.  That said, we know that times are tough and that every single one of us has felt the effects of a recessed economy. However, if we’re still fortunate enough to have a roof over our heads and food in our stomachs, we’re in much better shape than most and we may be able to dig a little deeper and help our Haitian brothers and sisters.  To find out more on how to help, visit HopeForHaitiNow.org and share the love.

Next, I would like to thank Samara Riviera for her contributions to LBM.  Samara has been with us since its inception and has brought its readers a number of quality celebrity interviews in her own personal style.  She has decided to focus more on her own personal endeavors and we wish her much success.

Finding an adequate replacement wasn’t easy, but we finally did with Victor Barreiro. Victor has a solid professional foundation as our next connection to the stars.  He is a producer with the Associated Press, Frontiers Publishing and EDP Productions and has worked with E! Entertainment Television.  He was a host and reporter for LATV and is currently a segment producer and reporter for the TV Guide Network, appearing as an on-air contributor for many of the network’s more popular segments such as “Idol Tonight”, covering a myriad of live red carpet and studio interviews, and producing for Joan and Melissa Rivers and Joey Fatone during their time with the network.  Congratulations Victor and welcome to the family.

As usual, I would like to thank everyone who continues to support our publication, readers and advertisers alike.  We wouldn’t be here without you.  We’re honored and humbled that you continue to turn to us to reach the heart of the Latino community…Happy Valentine’s Day!
