Monday, August 10th was the annual Bartenders Boxers and Briefs Auction for Tuesday’s Angels at Bill’s. The total of bids and other contributions was over $9,400. Twenty-one bartenders took part from Rosie’s, Ramrod, Lips, Boom, Exit 66, Slammers, Alibi, Bill’s, Boardwalk, Matty’s, Sea Monster, Scandals, Stable, VooDoo and the boys from Fab Scout. Jason from VooDoo raised the most money, $1,200. The MCs for the evening were Nikki Adams, Toni Barone, Russell from Stable, Miss Kitty and Misty Eyes. Volunteers were Pooch from Scandals and David from Alibi. Among the many sponsors were the Grand Resort and Spa, Island City Fitness, Alibi, Bill’s, Russian Standard Vodka, Mount Gay Rum and Cointreau. Kudos go out to Don Clark (manager and bartender at Bill’s) and his team for once again organizing such a fantastic event. Sunday, August 16th was Score’s 11th Anniversary starring DJs Oscar G and Abel. The club was decorated beautifully and Billy and Luis could not have been more gracious hosts! The night was a who’s who is Miami nightlife including Babek and Jason of Halo, Tony of Azucar, Omar Gonzalez, Ejean of Twist, Josue Santiago of Latino Boys Magazine, Barbra Brice and many, many more! Congrats to Billy, Luis and the entire Score team (who, by the way, are all super handsome…YUM) for a phenomenal event!
Thursday, August 20th
MDGLCC presents their monthly networking program for the Upper Eastside/Midtown area membership group. Held on the third Thursday of each month, this month’s meeting location is at Soyka’s Restaurant private room located in the 55th Street Station (5556 NE 4th Ct.; 305-759-3117). Registration at 11:30 am with luncheon/networking from noon to 1:00 pm. Cost is $30 per person including seated style lunch and is limited to 30 persons. Azucar, in association with Granda Entertainment and Club Papi, presents the Fey national gay club tour. Fey will be celebrating 15 years of amazing work in the music industry and she will be singing her classic hits “Muevelo,” “Azucar Amargo” and her new single “Lentamente.” The night will also feature the sexy papi dancers direct from Los Angeles.
The Ramrod invites everyone to pump, bump and jump at their Mandance tonight (3rd Friday of the month) starring DJ Herbie James.
Noche Latina Fridays at Sea Monster presents Champagne Bordeaux’s birthday extravaganza starring Champagne, Alyssa and special guests. The night also stars DJ Billy, hot Latin go-go papi’s and features free parking.

Starting at 7 pm The Stable, in conjunction with BearParty Magazine, is holding a cover model contest. Cash prizes: 3rd place $25, 2nd place $50, 3rd place $100 PLUS a chance to be a magazine cover model. Contest is limited to 20 contestants and deadline to register is Friday, August 21st.

Humane Society of Greater Miami presents Summer Lovin’ Adoption Drive from 1 pm – 4 pm. Dogs will be available for adoption at the South Dade Petco, 18579 South Dixie Highway, along with food, drinks, giveaways and raffle prizes! This is a free event so bring the whole family and fall in love! In honor of National Homeless Animals Day, on-site adoptions will be offered at a 75% discount with all dogs only $50. A dog adopted from the Humane Society of Greater Miami has already been spayed or neutered and is up-to-date with all vaccines.

Discotekka presents Balloonville where they will celebrate the birthday of after-hours DJ Carlos G. In addition they feature direct from Mexico and & Pure Jaus Records DJ Erich Ensastigue and their regular DJ’s Jarell in the main room and Alex Infiniti in the Forbidden Room.
