Wilton Towers – Wilton Manors

Wilton Tower located in the heart of Wilton Manors was recently purchased by RK Properties from Long Beach, California. This community was Florida’s first acquisition and is currently under major renovation expected to be completed by end of 2009. RK Properties has holdings in California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Colorado and now has two communities in South Florida. Wilton Tower, Wilton Manors only high rise has seen key changes since purchase in January of this year.
This apartment community built in 1973 has currently renovated over 70 units with new custom veneer cherry cabinetry, granite countertops, designer carpet and tile. Both kitchens as well as bathrooms have been completely redone in a modern contemporary feel. Hallways have been restructured with emphasis on individual doors offering a truly unique atmosphere. The community has added a full fitness center as well as community room and business center. The communities lobby has been updated with modern art and furnishings and is the central meeting place of its residents once again. Scheduled for the near future is a spa, barbeque area as well as a dry dock. The pool area will be revamped including a heated pool and spa.
