From Oct 8th to the 18th is the Tampa International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival. This is the 6th Largest Gay Film Festival in America. The Equality Florida Greater Orlando Gala takes place on Friday October 9th from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the fabulous City Arts Factory (29 South Orange Avenue). Expect great food, cocktails, and 100% of the proceeds directly benefit our statewide LGBT rights organization, Equality Florida.
On Friday, Oct 9th is the GaYBOR District Coalition monthly meeting. This month hosted by L’Olivier and L’Olivier’s Bistro and Cabaret starting at 4 PM. At 7 pm the buses for the Equality March On Washington, DC roll into GaYBOR. Join us for the send off at MC Film.
Also on Friday October 9th Steam Fridays at the Honey Pot in association with Warner Brothers Records invite you to celebrate the release of Madonna’s Celebration with guest DJ/Producer Johnny Vicious (Madonna’s new official remixer).
City Side Lounge’s grand re-opening party is on Friday, October 9th. There will be free champagne and lots of changes to behold. Of course they kept the things you love about City Side Lounge like the patios, and the legendary house DJ David Jay. City Side Lounge is entering their 20th year in business, and the owners have always been proud to serve the GLBT and gay friendly community in Tampa Bay with a higher caliber of service. Their staff is excited to be back together soon, and they can’t wait to see everyone there.
On Saturday, October 10th the Parliament House presents RuPaul live at 10pm in honor of Orlando Pride Weekend. Also at the Parliament House catch the Footlight Players hosted by Darcel Stevens with a full cast including the current reigning Miss Continental, Armani.

Look up into the sky…it’s a Bird…it’s a Plane… No it’s 60 Tons of new air conditioning on the roof of G.BAR!!! Our home has 4 tons so it’s hard to imagine just how much 60 tons is. All that we do know is that this weekend it was really cool & comfortable. But, the men were still just plain HOT & Steamy. Talk about going from zero to 100 fast! That is just what the Judy B. Goode & Paul Thomas Show, has done at Streetcar Charlie’s!!!! Monday nights are just plain wild! This past Monday all the tables inside were filled and most of the sidewalk cafe too.
