I’d like to start off this week by congratulating Miss Alis Summers and Miss Jocelyn Summers. Alisa recently placed in the top 12 of the Miss Gay USofA newcomer Pageant. This was her very first national pageant and we couldn’t be more proud of her. Jocely recently wont the Miss Gay Florida USofA at Large Pageant and she will go on to compete at the national level right here in GaYBOR at The Honey Pot in October. Both of you kept the crowns here in Tampa and if this is any sign of what’s to come, watch out world because Tampa is back on the map for pageants! This is just another great example of a community that comes together as one and I for one am very proud to be a part of this community and I know you are, too! VIVA LA GAYBOR! Until next week “my un-conventional conventionists” (anyone who can tell me, scottspar@hotspotsmagazine.com, where that line in quotes is from will get a special mention in my column next week!) much love to you all. Peace out, Scott.
