Angstrom Graphics has received the FSC Chain of Custody Certification, which protects ecosystems, their people and wildlife by implementing better business practices for biodiversity and conservation. Using an FSC printer ensures that no endangered wildlife habitats were harmed in the magazine’s production, ensures forest workers rights are protected and wood harvesting is legal and it allows us to promote the environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of our world’s forests.
Another great thing about partnering with Angstrom Graphics is that the company recycles their products. Each year they recycle almost 6,000 tons of paper, 25 tons of aluminum salvaged from printing plates and over 6,000 wooden pallets that were previously sent to the landfill. By doing this, Angstrom reduces the need to harvest over 100,000 trees, saving the equivalent energy required to heat and cool 14,000 homes each year and saving enough fresh water to meet the daily requirements of more than 550,000 Americans.
