“It is with great sadness that I must announce that we have decided to close Dive Bar and Grill. There are many circumstances that have lead to this and it was a difficult decision to make. We have made a lot of great friends there and we are grateful for all of your support. We look forward to seeing everyone in Ybor and wish everyone a happy holiday season!”

It seems like yesterday when Hamburger Mary’s had their grand opening. Mayor Pam Iorio was there having her photo taken with Hamburger Mary herself, Miss Esme Russell! To celebrate the anniversary there were two very special weekend show. The cast of Mary’s Beauties on Friday night & guest Lei Shannon from Orlando on Saturday. On Sunday was our favorite DJ Power Infinity. Congratulations to the Hamburger Mary’s Family that have created this place everybody calls home!
The second annual Ritz Ybor & GaYBOR District Holiday Party was a huge success! This year designer Mathieu Stanoch installed a 30 ft holiday tree on 7th Ave. out front on the Ritz’s marquee! Inside guests were greeted by dozens of live Christmas trees decorated by a variety of businesses and non profits. To the delight of everybody, Jeremy Gloff performed his new hit “A GaYBOR Xmas,” then came the much anticipated announcement of the GaYBOR Holiday Decorating Contest with over $2,500 in prizes. This year’s winners were: Retail/Restaurant – Fresh Mouth; Club – Centro Cantina; Group Effort – 1408 – 1414 4th Ave complex; Residence – Jenna Becker-Clements.
Everybody agrees that Steam Fridays is a great place for the very best in entertainment and dance. Even more people are discovering that Steam Fridays is the perfect place for that special occasion! The bottle service is wonderful and so is MR CJ, your host! Last week there was a very special 32nd birthday party here for Paul G.!
