Hotspots Media Group is proud to present the Fourth Annual Holiday Celebration on December 6 at the Embassy Suites Hotel on the 17th Street Causeway in Fort Lauderdale. This annual event draws 500+ guests each year and is a event that locals look forward to all year and continues to grow. We strive to have a certain “wow factor,” said Publisher Peter Clark.

Three years ago, Valerie Harper, star of stage and screen, was a featured guest speaker and last year, there was a Dillards Fashion Show and a performance by the dance troupe Wreckless who were finalists on America’s Got Talent. This year, Hotspots will strive to take the event to the next level with a special performance by The Kinsey Sicks, known as “America’s favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet.” The popular group consists of four performers, all dressed in outrageous drag, who perform amazing acapella songs and always have witty repartee with their audiences.

Also contributing to the “wow factor” is the look of the event, which takes place at the gorgeous Embassy Suite’s Terra Ballrooms. Once again, Adams Interiors will stage the latest in modern furniture throughout the ballroom, so guests can lounge and schmooze in a living room-like setting. “We wanted it to have an intimate feel, like you’re in someone’s home,” said Clark. This year Adams Interiors is featuring the work of Italian furniture designer Kelvin Giormani showcasing some of his latest designs in leather furniture.

Of course, the biggest “wow factor” are the guests. The annual gathering offers the opportunity for business owners and community leaders to get together, mingle, and enjoy each other’s company

“The feedback is always exceptional,” said Clark, who was recently approached by Al Lamberti, Sheriff of Broward County, who was asking where his invitation was to the event. (Clark assured him that he and his team will be receiving invitations shortly).

The celebration is by invitation only and 100 percent of ticket proceeds and Silent Auction funds raised go to Pride Center at Equality Park and Broward House.

“It’s always been important for Hotspots to give back and in 2011 we gave back over $653,000 to our community throughout Florida,” said Associate Publisher Scott Holland.

If you have not received your invitation and would like to attend, feel free to call Scott Holland at 954-928-1862 or e-mail him at Scott@HotspotsMagazine.com
