Looking good means more than dressing well and getting a haircut.   As a massage therapist, I have naturally become a connoisseur of clients’ skin.  Smooth clear skin is a pleasure to work on, and must be equally pleasant for anyone you are intimate with.

Good skin means having fine pores, the minimum of blemishes and skin eruptions and enough moisture.  Drinking lots of water every day is great for skin moisture.

Soap often contains detergents that dry out the skin.  A body bar or a good quality gel is a better choice.  For the face, use a fragrance-free cleanser, followed by a moisturizer with an SPF.

Daily shaving may seem like a chore, but it provides regular exfoliation, which helps promote smooth, healthy skin.  Shaving creams should decrease friction, preventing razor burn, and the inclusion of eucalyptus or tee-tree oil prevents breakouts and irritation.

One of the best ways to exfoliate your body is to be scrubbed with substances with a hardy granule – sugar, salt, or oatmeal for example.  I refer to this in my service menu as a Body Polish.  To do this at home, make sure that your skin is wet, and rub the scrub in big circular motions, giving extra attention to knees, elbows and heels, where the skin is usually rough.  After you rinse off, the water will bead on your smooth, glossy skin.  Ideally you should finish with a body moisturizer.

Ever thought about using a teeth whitener?  They really work, and can greatly improve your smile.  An attractive smile is one of the biggest factors in making a good first impression.  A lip balm, preferably with an SPF, is an essential for Florida living.

If you sweat a lot, you need to pay special attention to your skin.  After every workout, change every item of clothing quickly and shower thoroughly.  If you break out easily, consider taking a daily zinc table, or eat more beef, which is high in zinc.  We need to replace zinc regularly because we lose much of it in ejaculate!
