All I can say is: “HOLY HALLOWEEN BATMAN!” This week is full of Halloween events and costume contests, and, as you read below, you’ll realize that I’m not kidding. The way I see it is; if you play your cards right and come up with some creative costumes, you can win some of these contests and actually get your rent paid. LOL Everyone is offering some kind of cash prize so girl, get your drag on! Throw on some hot pumps and as RuPaul says: “You Better Work.”

What started as a house party of 30 friends on Halloween has become, 36 years later, the hottest ticket in town for the gay community. The 36th annual All Hallows’ Masquerade Ball returns Saturday for a night of costumed merriment. This year’s theme is “It’s A Small World”. I found out that a record number of people are confirmed on the guest list so, if you don’t have an invite by now, better luck next year; the All Hallows is by invitation-only and costumes aren’t just encouraged; they’re mandatory. I already have my invite and I’ll see all of you there! www.allhallowsball.org
