WHSF-bannerI was out of town the last week as I was lucky enough to be able to go on the RSVP Cruise on the beautiful Eurodam from the Holland America line. Stay tuned in the next couple weeks for the feature on this amazing trip! Having said that I had all my people out and about reporting what went on.

A week ago Monday my good friend and Miss Noche Latina Elite, Alyson Thomas, produced her pageant, Carolina Continental at Mekka. This feature many pageants all in one night and from what I was told the place was packed and the entertainment was some of the best this country and the Continental system has to offer. Congratulations to Alyson, the entire staff of Mekka and the winners: Victoria, Stasha Sanchez, Ginger Ming, Joanna James, Kalil Valentino and Jose Vega. On Thursday night another season of Drag Wars at Azucar came to an end and the winner was Eva Starr. Friday evening the City of Wilton Manors in cooperation with local businesses hosted Hearts On The Drive for an evening of art, music, food and drinks.  While the heavy rain may have proved a deterrent for many of the businesses, Print Matters (Bruce Bogan and Jason Otero produced the event) hosted a Studio 54…

I also heard that Tropics was packed, especially the piano bar where everyone seemed to think they were actually Barbara Streisand! Also on Friday night was the Grand Opening of Rumors which packed in the crowds. They had some sexy go-go dancers, great performances including a special performance by Latrice Royale. Congrats to owners, Nick, Shawn, Brendan and all the managers and staff. Saturday night was the Grand Opening of XXXtreme Saturdays at Solare Coliseum and I am told it was packed wall to wall. Big congratulations to Angela, Armando, Vegas and Marytrini for putting together a wonderful party.
