Pitbull-Born January 15, 1981
Pitbull (born Armando Pérez) is a South Florida native I just can’t resist…maybe more for his looks than for some of his music! Don’t get me wrong, he has some catchy songs, but the most important thing to me is how I want to melt after looking into his blue eyes! Love it!
He released his first album in 2004, but it wasn’t until 2009 when he received national and international prominence with his single “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho).” Since his breakthrough, seven more singles (solo and as featured artist) have reached the Top Ten. He’s currently partnered with Ke$ha to tour across North America and Canada, and if you move fast, you can see them on June 28 at the Live Nation Amphitheatre in Tampa! It’s the last date of the tour so I’m sure it’s going to be special (and double points if you can stand Ke$ha!).
Enrique Iglesias-Born May 8, 1975
Just being related to Julio Iglesias will give you powers of seduction us mere mortals do not possess, but being his son…that gives him superpowers! With all that talent seemingly inherited, was it any surprise that he followed in his father’s footsteps, making women (and men) swoon for nearly 20 years now?
He released his first Spanish-language album in 1995, and his first English-language song, “Bailamos,” shot to #1 on the US pop charts in 1999. He has released four Spanish albums, four English albums, and one bilingual album with another in the works! In 2010 he managed to chart back into the Top Ten for the first time in nine years, marking a creative and career resurgence.
This is a man I want for my own! Watch out, Anna Kournikova, because if I have anything to say about it, tonight he’ll be lovin’ ME!
Ricky Martin- Born December 24, 1971
It was evident way back in the ’80s that Ricky had talent and staying power while performing with the boy band Menudo, but it wasn’t until he was trying to woo Vanessa Marcil over on “General Hospital” that I noticed the boy is FINE! Since then, he’s matured into the kind of man you can be dirty with in private yet you can still take home to meet mother. The best of both worlds!
Ricky’s English-language breakthrough was in 1999, and he scored four Top Twenty hits on the main pop chart, but it’s the Latin charts where he remains king, boasting eleven #1 hits. In 2010 he finally put years of rumors to rest by announcing that he is gay. Unluckily for us, he is taken. (His partner may be even hotter than he is, if you can believe it!). Even with that said, we still vote “sí” to this sexy and talented recording artist.
Marc Anthony- Born September 16, 1968
You can thank the likes of the aforementioned hunks such as Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin for the English-language career of Marc Anthony, as he was launched into the mainstream U.S. market as a direct result of their successes. His successful English debut was with the song “I Need to Know,” which rose to #3 on the charts and won the inaugural Latin Grammy Award for Song of the Year back in 2000. We are now awaiting the release of his new album “3.0,” which comes out in just a few short weeks!
Even though he’s enjoyed the fruits of his labor and earned money and fame, he has been unlucky in love quite a few times, and he has now been divorced twice (before he was the King to J.Lo’s Queen, he was married to the sexy Miss Universe Dayanara Torres). I’m sure quite a few of our readers would be happy to mend his broken heart!
