It is supposed to be the off-season, but you wouldn’t know that by the amount of events that were happening in South Florida this past week. Here are some of the events that happened this past week: On Wednesday, Jerry Torres and Ivan Cano hosted an Outgames 2017 Reception to honor Horacio Alvarado Bogantes, Mayor of Belen, Costa Rica; Wendy Iriepa and Ignacio Estrada, co-founders of the League Against AIDS & founders of the Cuban Human Rights Commission; Alfredo Villegas, volleyball LGBT tournament organizer for Mexico & Latino communities in the USA; and Barbara Howard, Trade and Travel Goodwill Ambassador to Kenya and Florida State Chair of the Congress of Racial Equality (C.O.R.E.) Also on Wednesday night, Urge in Miami had a fabulous party starring DJs Isaac Escalante and Abel. The Boardwalk featured adult video star Ryan Rose starting Wednesday and going all weekend long. On Thursday, the Village Pub presented the one and only Lady Bunny to the enjoyment of the crowd. On Friday, Twist in association with Creative Male featured a Hit & Sticky Underwear Party.
