Le Mouton Noir Bakehouse: Where Artisan meets Tampa Bay

Le Mouton Noir Bakehouse is Tampa Bay’s source for Artisan-baked breads and pastries. Located in the Channel District, where Kennedy Boulevard meets Channelside Drive, they specialize in fresh Artisan-made breads and pastries. They also serve locally-roasted coffee, as well as fine teas and sodas. They use only the best ingredients and locally sourced where possible.

The idea for LMN Bakehouse came about in 2010 when Francisco quit his job in the hotel industry to pursue his dream of owning an artisan bakery. With help from the whole family, they came up with the idea of a place where the community can gather and share the joy of fresh baked goods in an inviting setting. They found their home in Tampa’s Channel District, a vibrant up-and-coming community close to Downtown Tampa but with easy access from all points around Tampa Bay.

They decided to make most of our products from scratch at the LMN Bakehouse; for those that they are unable to produce themselves, they decided to search the country and the world for only those that met our quality standards; they do not want to serve their guests anything that they wouldn’t be happy with themselves.

In addition to favorite staples like baguettes and croissants, they offer an ever changing array of flavors; check with them often for seasonal cake and cookie flavors, varying artisan breads, as well as anything that strikes their fancy that they think you might enjoy.

From the beginning, they wanted to be responsible members of the community. For them this involved many things: they wanted to be a place for the community to gather, to recycling and minimizing environmental impact, to taking part in local activities and events. They strive to use recycled goods whenever possible as well as use biodegradable products, and they have a glass and plastic bottle recycling program. You can also keep up with local activities and their community involvement through their facebook page at facebook.com/lmnbakehouse.
