After 20 years in the business Stevie Moon studios has recently moved to 3045 North Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. Their new spacious studio (twice the size of their last studio) has more room to do more art. This studio is more conducive to thinking out of the box. It is on the southwest corner of Oakland Park Blvd and Federal Hwy. They are in the same plaza that the ‘Culture Room’ music venue is. There is tons of parking, wonderful food places, and even a mall to haunt across street if you want!

At Stevie Moon Tattoo all they do is custom work, which means that they want to help you design your perfect work. They will be happy to reproduce some art items, from statues to paintings etc and welcome any visuals that have to help you to communicate your ideal tattoo.

Stevie would like to remind all Floridians that the sun is the #1 killer of tattoos, so please use sun block with a high SPF (a least 50) on your tattoo. However, not on a fresh tattoo as it could hurt it badly.  Having a tattoo should not interfere with your activities at all! Stevie suggests that you pretend you have a newborn and make sure the little baby doesn’t get frazzled with the UV rays of that Florida sun. To say the sun ‘fades’ tattoos is not true as to ‘brighten’ a faded tattoo is easy. To fix a tattoo that the sun added a little ‘brown’ coloring to is a totally different story.

Stevie invites anyone to call or visit if you have any questions, are debating getting a tattoo, even
if you are getting it somewhere else. Stevie’s goal ultimately is easy. The tattoo itself trumps everything.

It has to be #1 in the hierarchy of things. He has covered up so many pieces, whether poorly done or
poorly thought out by the owner, the tattoo must be considered on every angle. Concept, design,
placement, and execution are probably the most critical of decisions on his part. He loves working
on projects with people and he will be the first to tell you if he fears regret may be on the horizon
with your choice of direction. He will only choose to tattoo pieces that he is confident you will love
the rest of your days. If you think about it, it is a tattoo and will last as long as you do. He promises
to keep this in mind with your work. And in the end, if the ideas make Stevie’s socks go up and down,
then you are going to love it as well.
