The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County heralds its eighth season of showcasing Broadway’s greatest hits in the Ziff Ballet Opera house with a six-show subscription package that opens with the South Florida premiere of the worldwide smash-hit musical featuring Queen’s legendary hits WE WILL ROCK YOU December 10-15, 2013; followed by the hilarious holiday-themed Broadway musical ELF, set to bring in the New Year December 31, 2013-January 5, 2014.
In addition, Miami audiences will experience, for the first time, the irresistible love story of Tony Award®-winning “Best Musical” ONCE from February 4-9, 2014; the heart-warming tale of loyalty and friendship and winner of five 2011 Tony Awards® WAR HORSE, March 4-9, 2014; and the stunning new production of one of the most beloved musicals of all time – Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tony Award®-winning musical EVITA from May 27 – June 1, 2014. The season’s surprise sixth show will be announced soon!
MAMMA MIA!, Broadway in Miami’s 2013 – 2014 season extra and the ultimate feel-good musical filled with ABBA hits, returns to the Arsht Center on October 11-13, 2013. The Broadway in Miami 2013 – 2014 subscription season is presented by Florida Theatrical Association, Broadway Across America and the Adrienne Arsht Center.
