We have two dogs, both are schnauzers, one is a miniature schnauzer and the other is a giant schnauzer.

Our miniature schnauzer, Max is the alpha of the house and makes sure 
the younger one never forgets it, despite his larger size. The giant schnauzer, Storm, was a rescue dog and is thoroughly content living with us, sleeping in our bed, playing with whatever he can find, and eating the garbage when we are gone!

Max’s nickname is “Old Man” and Storm’s is “Stormie.”

Max is ten years old and Storm is four years old.
Where did you get your pets?
Max came to us at four months old, when his previous owners could not care for him any longer. Storm, as we mentioned was a rescue dog. We got him when he was two years old from the Humane Society.
What is the funniest thing your pet does?
We decided that Max, the smaller of the two, must be a gay dog! He walks under Storm and licks his —-. Storm uses our swimming pool as his giant water bowl and laps up its water when he is thirsty.

Our dogs are pretty smart and have learned to fool their mommies by pretending to need to go outside to do their business, just as long as they get a doggie treat when they come back in. Needless to say, we go through a lot of doggie bones!

Both our pets think of us as their favorite toys, because when they want to play, they always come looking to us, no matter what we are doing …to play.

They are brother and sister born in TN near our farm house. We got them right after Hurricane Wilma and they made our life a lot more normal after the worst summer eve.

Xena, the female, likes to get on her hind legs and dance for treats; and Cosmo, the male, jumps up about 3 feet in the air to go out. Outside of that they are mellow.

Anything that is not their regular dog food.

They never got into the toy thing. They go after squirrels though and I think that is their fun –chasing after them as long as they don’t catch them! The breed was meant for squirrel hunting back in the day.

Oliver and Beanie are from someone I know who adopted a pregnant cat. Lee and Hank are my boyfriend’s and came with him when he moved in. A friend who was leaving Florida gave me Twiggy.

They all have very funny distinct meows and are all very talkative (except the turtle, of course).
