Barry Manilow will be performing on January 17 at the BB&T Center, on January 18 at the Amway Center in Orlando, and finally on January 31 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

Barry Manilow, born and raised in Brooklyn, released his first album in 1973. Since then he’s recorded 28 more studio albums, twelve of which have reached platinum sales in the United States. Nine of his singles have reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, with favorites “Mandy,” “I Write the Songs” and “Looks Like We Made It” topping the chart. In addition to those three chart-toppers, the singles “Can’t Smile Without You” and “Copacabana” were certified gold. He has been considered a dominating force on the Adult Contemporary charts, where thirteen songs reached the top spot between 1974 and 1983. His most recent offering, a cover of the beloved Christmas standard “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,” reached #2 on the Adult Contemporary charts in 2012. He is one of the few recording artists to win a Grammy Award, an Emmy Award, and a Tony Award.

From 2004 to 2011, Manilow was a fixture on the Las Vegas Strip, with residencies at the Las Vegas Hilton and then at the Paris Hotel. Manilow made news at the end of 2013 by announcing that he had finished recording his newest album, “Night Songs,” which will be released sometime in 2014. In 2013 he made appearances on the talk show Katie and on the public radio program The Diane Rehm Show.
