Gay Disney Week
is upon us, and I don’t think anyone is as excited as I am! You already read the rundown of events at the Doubletree, Parliament House and Pulse Orlando. I had to throw in what’s going on at Hamburger Mary’s Orlando, Stonewall Bar Orlando, BarCodes, and other local establishments. Remember, Parliament House is hosting a lot of great entertainment this week, such as P.I. @ P.H. (Thursday), Mýa (Friday), LeAnn Rimes (Saturday) and Dev and En Vogue (Sunday). When you combine this column with the Gay Disney Week calendar of events, you will have your entire social calendar mapped out, all due to my help! Lots of love to you all!

Thursday June 5

RBARR in Orlando is starting their Gay Disney Week celebrations tonight with no cover charge before midnight. They’re also not charging for cover before midnight on Friday and Saturday nights. Come see the club for yourself! Danielle Hunter, Tasha Long and Sara Andrews perform in the Southern Nights Theater every Friday and Saturday at 10:30 and midnight.whcf_thur

Bear Bash Events presents a Decades Ice Party at ICEBAR in Orlando. What great way to kick off Gay Disney Week, and the Tidal Wave Party, than to be around some sexy hairy men in a…climate-controlled environment? Haha! ICEBAR is located at 8967 International Drive and the doors open at 9 p.m. $10 cover.

Friday June 6

Be sure to join sexy bears, cubs, chubs (where I fit in!) and many others at the eighth annual Tidal Wave Party tonight at Wet ‘n’ Wild in Orlando. The party starts at 6 p.m. and rocks on until midnight. Don’t have your ticket yet? You can buy them online at or you can buy them at the Wet ‘n’ Wild gates.

Julian Bain’s Risqué Friday kicks off a weekend of events at Stonewall Bar Orlando. Risqué Friday begins at 10 p.m. with lots of sexy dancers all over the bar! Come back on Saturday night for the Stonewall Starlettes’ show Beach Blanket Bimbos, which starts at 11 p.m. Finally, on Sunday, DJ Vegas is on the patio providing the music for the Beach Party T-Dance, starting at 4 p.m.

Parliament House in Orlando has so many events going on this entire week, and I saved this event specifically for my column! The play Little Miss Parliament House, written by and starring Jeff Jones, will premiere tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Footlight Theatre. Tickets go from $12 in advance to $15 at the door. The show returns tomorrow, also at 7:30, and on Sunday at 5 p.m.

Saturday June 7

Are you waiting, like I am, for Leigh Shannon’s special Gay Disney cabaret dinner show at whcf_sat_leighHamburger Mary’s Orlando? I have a table reserved for the 8 o’clock show; if I don’t see you there, I hope you get a seat at the second show, which starts at 10:30! Be ready for seating by 7 for the first show and by 9:45 for the second one. Call (321) 319-0600 to reserve your spot!

BarCodes in Orlando is celebrating this eventful weekend with a blacklight spandex party! Dress in something skin-tight and make your way down there because the party starts at 8 p.m.! Sunday June 8

The beginning of the month means I must give a shoutout to the Bear Sundays event at Bradley’s on 7th in Tampa! Any reader of my column knows that I absolutely love bears, and it’s nice to have a night with great music (provided by DJ Steve Brooks), cool drinks, and cuddly men. Bear Sundays runs from 6 p.m. to midnight, and there’s no cover (any night of the week).

Tuesday June 10

Tuesdays are “XXX Rated” at Liquid Tampa, and for good reason! Liquid says they have thewhcf_tues hottest male dancers in Tampa Bay under their roof. Maybe you should go see them and be the judge!
