The Fontainebleau Miami Beach (4441 Collins Avenue) and Visit Florida, Florida’s state tourism board, present the third annual iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party, a two-day musical weekend that is part of the Fontainebleau’s “BleauLive” concert series. The event starts Friday, June 27, and continues on Saturday, June 28.

Hosted by actor and America’s Got Talent emcee Nick Cannon, the event will feature performances by today’s hot hitmakers, such as Jennifer Lopez, Iggy Azalea, Ariana Grande, Tiësto, Neon Trees and Lil Jon. This will be the first year that the iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party will feature two nights of exclusive live performances.

“The iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party brings memorable, over the top artist experiences to our listeners and continues to be a huge success year after year,” said Tom Poleman, President of National Programming Platforms at Clear Channel Media, in a statement to the press last month. “Connecting our fans to the music they love across our radio stations no matter where they are and then bringing that music to life at our iconic events is what iHeartRadio is all about.”

The event kicks off on Friday, June 27 with performances by Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea and Lil Jon poolside at the Fontainebleau. Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea peaked at #2 this spring with the single “Problem,” which continues to burn up the pop charts. Iggy Azalea also boasts the #1 single “Fancy,” featuring Charli XCX, which has already sold 1.6 million copies in the United States alone and is poised to become one of the summer’s hot anthems. Lil Jon, with DJ Snake, entered the Top 5 as well this year with the song “Turn Down for What,” which sold over a million copies.

iheart_2On Saturday, June 28, an all-day pool party will be held at the Fontainebleau featuring sets by iHeartRadio’s house DJs. In the evening, Jennifer Lopez, Tiësto and Neon Trees will perform. Jennifer Lopez has had a successful music career for over 15 years and is well-recognized for her judge and mentor role on the FOX television series American Idol. Lopez released her new album A.K.A. this month, also releasing the hot new singles “I Luh Ya Papi” and “First Love” in consecutive months this spring. Neon Trees, featuring gay lead singer Tyler Glenn, are currently touring the country, all the while promoting their new album Pop Psychology and their Top 10 rock hit “Sleeping with a Friend.” Dutch DJ Tiësto (real name Tijs Michiel Verwest) reached the second highest position on the dance charts this winter with his EDM-friendly song “Red Lights.”

The media partner for the iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party is The CW, which will air portions of the weekend in a nationwide primetime telecast on July 9. The event has also been promoted on 140 Clear Channel-owned radio stations across the country. Florida radio affiliates promoting the iHeartRadio Ultimate Pool Party include Mix 100.7 in Tampa Bay, XL 106.7 in Orlando and Y100 in Miami/Fort Lauderdale.
