Four Stops in South and Central Florida
Susan Boyle dreamed a dream and now she is living it. You might remember that she became famous worldwide in an instant back in 2009, when she auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent and the world fell in love with her flawless mezzo-soprano voice. Since then, she has sold nearly 20 million albums worldwide, with her upcoming album, Hope, available for pre-order now.
She has embarked on her first tour of the United States, and her performances in Florida will be closing the tour out. Before she leaves to go back to Scotland, make sure you see her at any one of the four upcoming tour dates in south and central Florida. On Saturday, November 1 at 8 p.m., she will be performing at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. The next night, Sunday, November 2, she will be at the King Center for the Performing Arts in Melbourne, starting at 7 p.m. Her tour brings her to the Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale on Monday, November 3 at 7:30 p.m. Then, on Wednesday, November 5 at 8 p.m., Susan Boyle will be performing at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall in Sarasota.
Susan Boyle’s first album, I Dreamed a Dream, topped the charts in the U.S., the UK, and in dozens of countries around the world. Her follow-up album, The Gift, allowed Boyle to achieve the rare feat of having two albums top the charts in the UK and the U.S. in the same year. Since then she has released three more albums and another is forthcoming. Susan Boyle’s tour of the United States promotes her album Standing Ovation: The Greatest Songs from the Stage.
Tickets are on sale now and start at $40 for the Clearwater performance, $39.50 for the Melbourne performance, $35 for the Fort Lauderdale performance and $47.80 for the Sarasota performance.
