Not that I am complaining, but a lot of the locations this weekend focused on “skin.” Friday started with a trip to Swinging Richards where I saw lots of sexy men in all of their glory. Afterwards, I went by Rumors for the weekly Daisy Deadpetals Show with cast member Erika Norell and special guests. As usual, Daisy is a hoot on the microphone and makes you have a fab time. Afterwards it was off to Ramrod for their monthly “Mandance” featuring men in leather and harnesses galore dancing to the beats of Herbie James. Saturday started out very sad, as the community came together for Mark Haines’ Celebration of Life service at the Pride Center at Equality Park. The memorial was so packed that it was standing room only as the South Florida community came out to pay tribute to a wonderful man and friend who was taken from us way too early. Tributes were made by Robert Boo, Jason Tamanini, Stephen R. Lang, Mark’s nephew and brother, and Reverend Leslie Tipton, and John Goodnight of the City of Wilton Manors presented a certificate to the family proclaiming that day as “Mark Haines Day.” Thanks to Carol Moran of 13 Even for donating all the refreshments. This was a wonderful way to say goodbye to a great friend. Later on that evening, My TropiXXX presented their annual holiday fashion show at Hunters. The show was hosted by Velvet LeNore and Jamie and benefited Out of the Closet Thrift Store. It featured lots of sexy models. Afterwards, we went down to Floppy Roosters to see more sexy men. It was one of the bartenders’ birthdays, and the strippers brought him on stage. I will let the pic (the PG version) do the rest of the talking. After that, it was off to Discotekka for one of their infamous foam parties, and as usual, it was lots of fun!

Just off the heels of his intimate U.S. club tour, the premiere of his TV drama series, ‘Kingdom,’ and viral Flaunt Magazine cover story, multi-talented recording artist and actor Nick Jonas premieres his single “Jealous” and self-titled, debut album from Island Records. Jonas will perform Jealous on the Nickelodeon’s Halo Awards on November 30 at 7pm, Jonas is also set to be the special guest host at this year’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2014 Concert Tour in Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Washington D.C., Tampa, Miami, and with a performance in Chicago.
Jonas’ current single “Jealous,” written by Jonas, Nolan Lambroza and Simon Wilcox, continues to climb the digital sale. The smash hit has already garnered rave reviews from multiple press outlets, “This time he’s bringing a funkier upbeat sound that is refreshing and much different than anything we’ve heard from the youngest Jonas brother,” says MTV. Idolator said, “Nick squeezed every ounce of angst he could muster into “Chains” before debuting his next single “Jealous”, which sounds like Bruno Mars mixed with classic ’80s soul-pop. It’s fantastic — instantly hummable and very radio-friendly.” The mind-blowing new music video for the suave, upbeat single, directed by Peter Tunney and Ryan Pallotta, uses mixed materials on canvas and inspirational messages which brings you inside the mind of Nick Jonas!
“‘Chains’, ‘Jealous’ and ‘Numb’ all represent the musical range that I envisioned when creating my upcoming album,” says Jonas. “I’m really proud of this body of music and can’t wait for the world to hear it.”
