Miami was very impressed and excited with our presentation, the worldwide migration of guys internationally, local support, our four-year consistent history, contributions back to the Community and the phenomenal growth of BeachBear Weekend. They are even more excited to become our partner in this event for 2016.
While every avenue in Fort Lauderdale to host BeachBear Weekend 2016 was tried and exhausted, we simply needed the backing and cooperation in Fort Lauderdale they would not provide. We want all of our local guys to migrate down to our new venue on the beach.
The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) and the Miami-Dade Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce couldn’t have been more welcoming to us. As home to the White
Party and Winter Party, BeachBear Weekend will form a very hot troika of events right on the beach itself.
Our first undertaking is to locate a new host hotel on the beach-and we’re close- with all of the amenities to provide a great new experience for our bears!

BeachBear Weekend is scheduled Tuesday, May 3rd through Sunday, May 8th, 2016. Watch our website for some incredible new announcements as only can happen with this change.
