The National LGBTQ Task Force has been fighting for LGBTQ equality at the grassroots level ever since it was founded back in 1973. A number of events in the South Florida community, 
such as Winter Party, benefit local charities as well as the National LGBTQ Task Force. The Task Force wishes to thank all of its South Florida supporters by inviting them out to a special evening in Fort Lauderdale. Come out to the residence of Russell Sassani and Michael Schneider, who live at 139 Fiesta Way in Fort Lauderdale, for a special event just for Task Force supporters. It will begin at 7 p.m. and will last until 9:30 p.m.
At this event, there will be cocktails and hors d’oeuvres served. Also, Executive Director of the National LGBTQ Task Force, Rea Carey, will be present as the guest of honor. She will give a speech to the crowd about the LGBTQ community’s recent victories, such as the June decision legalizing same-sex marriage nationwide, as well as the Task Force’s plan to implement full LGBTQ equality in every facet of life in every state of the union.
Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased online by going to the Fort Lauderdale event’s landing page directly at thetaskforce.org/ftl. Sponsorships are also available and they begin at $500. If you’d like to make a tax-deductible donation to the Task Force in addition to purchasing your tickets or sponsorship, you can do so online as well.
