Sunday, November 22

The Miami Beach Botanical Garden is one of the most beautiful places in South Florida to view diverse selections of plants and flowers, and November is an even more breathtaking time to BotanicalBazaar_adstroll the botanical gardens. The weather is starting to become less humid and the air begins to feel more invigorating than stifling.

The garden’s staff and volunteers agree, as once a year, around Thanksgiving, they present a unique artisan fair which is designed to bring men, women and children to the Botanical Gardens to enjoy the assorted flora under beautiful weather conditions. This year’s Botanical Bazaar will be held on Sunday, November 22. The gates will open at 10 a.m., and there will be a number of fun events through the morning and into the afternoon. (The Bazaar is expected to wrap up at 4 p.m.)

At the Botanical Bazaar, enthusiasts will find dozens of local vendors, making for a wonderful holiday shopping experience. Many people will be selling their own collections of herbs and orchids, grown locally at their own greenhouses. In addition, other vendors will be selling locally-produced soaps and candles, T-shirts, and other accessories. There will also be fun activities all over the gardens, and people of all ages are welcome to participate. If you’re feeling peckish, there will be food and drink vendors serving up some of your fall favorites. This event is free of charge for the public to attend.

The corporate supporters of the Botanical Bazaar at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden include Miami-Dade County, the City of Miami Beach, Whole Foods Market, and BB&T.

The Miami Beach Botanical Garden’s normal operating hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, and admission is free. For more information on the Miami Beach Botanical Garden, visit mbgarden.org.
