LGBT Visitor Center, Miami Beach
Thursday, December 10

The Miami Beach LGBT Visitor Center’s Holigay Celebration and Toy Drive has become a holigay2beloved part of the holiday season for the South Florida LGBT community, and the best part about this event is that it showcases our community’s penchant for hospitality and for giving. The Holigay Celebration is now in its sixth year and this year, Santa (along with his helpers such as yourselves) will put smiles on more faces of children in need than ever before. Mark your calendars for this year’s event, which will be held on Thursday, December 10 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the LGBT Visitor Center.

Everyone who is in the giving spirit should dress up in their festive best and present an unwrapped toy, which will benefit the Miami Beach Police Department and their annual holiday relief fund. The police officers will later distribute the toys to children less fortunate living in Miami-Dade County.

Santa Claus himself will be making an appearance at the party, and he will be holigay4available to wish you a Merry Christmas and to pose for selfies with you. (St. Nick is hip to the latest trends!) Premium cocktails will also be served at the party, thanks to sponsors Grey Goose and Bacardi. A live DJ will be on hand to play your favorite holiday songs and pop favorites, and there will also be a performance by the Miami Gay Men’s Chorus. Deco Productions will be decking the halls and providing an authentic and beautiful holiday experience for all. Other sponsors include Banana Republic/Gap Inc. and Florida International University.
