Former teen idol Tiffany shot to stardom 30 years ago with a grassroots tour of America, singing “I Think We’re Alone Now”. Thursday February 2

The LGBTQ Alliance, a coalition of over 20 Central Florida LGBT organizations, is hosting a town hall meeting at Acacia Banquet Halls, 1865 N. Econlockhatchee Trail, Orlando, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. They are asking input from the community about immediate needs that need to be addressed in the LGBT community, as well as long-term hopes and desires.

Southern Nights Tampa’s NeiBEARhood Takeover features adult film star Rocco Steele as the guest of honor, who will be selling his 10 Seven Underwear alongside GOBEARR Gear, selling their leather and fetish gear. If you’re a fan of FX’s American Horror Story, you must make plans to go to Parliament House Orlando‘s theme night, “The Best of American Horror Story“. Are you a bear looking for love (or lust)? Join like-minded individuals at one of the hottest dance parties of the month, happening tonight at Quench Lounge in Largo. For the first time, GOBEARR Gear, a past business profiled in Hotspots Central’s small business spotlight, will be selling portions of their inventory at the bear party. Music by DJ Reagan.

Flamingo Resort in St. Petersburg hosts one of its most popular drag events, the annual employee turnabout, tonight at 10 p.m. in the Blu Theater. Watch your favorite bartenders and staff rock it in drag, with all proceeds raised going to the AIDS Service Association of Pinellas.

Saturday February 11

Stonewall Bar Orlando presents the first annual Glitter Ball, a dance party for friends and lovers, which will benefit Miracle of Love, Stafford House and OMG. There will be raffles, a 50/50 drawing, and a picture booth with optional “Cupid” glitter photo frame. The Stonewall Starlettes will perform a show at 10:30. Music by DJ Skinner.

Leigh Shannon’s Cabaret Dinner Show has been going strong at Hamburger Mary’s Orlando for the past eight years, and the high-energy performances from its talented cast are truly a testament to the show’s success. Nakovy Boom’s Dream Boys will be shaking what they’ve got for you this evening at Parliament House Orlando. The Men of Miami will be bringing their signature spice to the disco and the video bar all night long. Footlight Players shows will be performed at 10 p.m. and midnight. Get out your winter-themed costumes and lace up those running shoes! Tampa Pride’s first annual fun run, which begins at 10:30 a.m. in Centennial Park, will take participants on a 1.5 mile track through Ybor City. Hamburger Mary’s St. Petersburg hosts a round of drag bingo for an important organization, Passion 4 Pits, which arranges for fostering and eventual adoption of rescued pit bulls. The Orlando Host Committee presents The Enchanted Jungle, a benefit party for The GLBT Community Center of Central Florida dedicated to life, love and a return to the dance floor. Equality Florida’s annual Tampa Gala is one of the largest fundraisers the LGBT civil rights organization hosts every year, and it’s no surprise considering the gala’s exquisite venue, TPepin’s Hospitality Centre.
