Cirque de Mascarade

The 12th Annual Pride & Passion: Cirque de Mascarade will take place at the Tampa Museum of Art (120 W Gasparilla Plaza, Tampa) on Saturday, April 29 at 8 p.m. Pride & Passion is Tampa Bay’s celebration of diversity benefiting the Tampa Museum of Art. This annual event has become known for its eclectic mix of people, eye-popping decor, and breathtaking live performances. The gala takes place within the sublime, modern space which houses the area’s premiere art museum and includes top-shelf open bar featuring signature cocktails, imported wines and champagne, micro-brews, and mouth-watering treats, both savory and sweet.

Pride & Passion takes place in the 66,000-square-foot Cornelia Corbett Center, the Museum’s home located in downtown Tampa’s Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park. The facility opened on February 6, 2010 and features over 26,000 sq. ft. of exhibition space.

The inspiration for Pride & Passion 2017 comes from the circuses, cabarets, and vibrant performance halls frequented by 19th century artists, intellectuals and writers in Paris. With Cirque de Mascarade, the Pride & Passion mantra of “dress to impress” invites guests to add a 19th century bohemian twist to your attire.

The LGBT community has been synonymous with Arts and Culture in Tampa Bay and around the world. It’s befitting that Pride & Passion, a signature fundraising event for the Tampa Museum of Art, features our community. It’s equally befitting that the money raised funds programs at the Museum that reduce barriers to admission, create safe places for people to experience the arts, and celebrates local talent.

Pride & Passion tickets include annual individual or household membership to the Tampa Museum of Art. If already a current Museum member, membership is extended by one year from the current membership expiration date.

Sponsorship packages of various levels and with increased value over general admission tickets are also available. For further information, please visit www.pridepassionart.org
