Lambda Men’s Brotherhood is pleased to announce The Leather Masked Ball® XIII will be held at Scandals on Saturday November 24th from 9pm till 3am.
The most excellent Herbie James will be DJing this thirteenth incarnation of this Leather party that the south Florida audience gets ready for months in advance.
Rich Rodriguez, Lambda’s President, said “between being the thirteenth Ball and Lambda’s 10th anniversary, this is certain to be an epoch party with a great DJ, cool crowd, mask contest, drink specials, bondage demonstrations and dancing studs.”
This year Lambda has once again chosen two highly vital, life-affirming causes to contribute to: Tertium Quid, helping to enable a summer camp for transgender youth and their families, and Gilda’s Club of South Florida, helping to support the needs of those with cancer.
Lambda’s Treasurer Dan Larrimore said he’s “truly proud to be part of an effort that’s raised over $225,000 for non-profit causes over so many years. I love this group. We really try and help.”
Tim Towey, the group’s Secretary, emphasized that Lambda’s mission is to identify and help fund critical needs in the community. “We need volunteers throughout the year. Ask one of our officers or directors during The Ball how you can help.”
Rich Rodriguez also wanted to thank Lambda’s sponsors, in particular HotSpots for being a stalwart media sponsor. “Without community business support, we’d be lost.”
