WHTN Productions, LLC, the parent company of the event Broward Bares It! today announced their beneficiaries for the upcoming event on Thursday, January 24, inside The Crystal Ballroom at The Venue, 2345 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors.
“We put out a call for not for profit organizations to head to our website, BrowardBares.com, and apply to be one of the two beneficiaries of this year’s event” said Terry DeCarlo, Director of Broward Bares and Partner of WHTN Productions LLC, “We received many applications, all of them doing amazing work for our community and certainly all of them were worthwhile recipients. But in the end we could only pick two, so the production team met, all were handed their own personal stack of applications and they were asked to go off by themselves, read them and come back to the group with the two they decided for whom they would like to do the event.”
The two beneficiaries of the January event are:
Deliver The Dream – Deliver the Dream provides structured, therapeutic, fun activities for families experiencing a serious illness or crisis on a three-day, two-night retreat weekend experience. Each retreat is geared towards a specific illness/crisis such as autism, spina bifida, death of a loved one, Down syndrome and cancer. There is no charge for families to attend. Families are normally referred by a network of not-for-profit and healthcare organizations throughout the state of Florida.
Latinos Salud – Latino Salud strives to provide client-centered, culturally-competent health education and integrated preventive, screening, and linkage services throughout South Florida in order to reduce the burden of communicable diseases and improve health outcomes. Latinos Salud operates three full-time locations to maximize its reach throughout South Florida, offering both appointment and walk-in service five days a week in Wilton Manors, Miami Beach, and Miami Southwest as well as mobile outreach and testing. From peer-leadership to one-on-one life coaching, Latinos Salud’s diverse programs serve thousands of people every year.
Broward Bares It! is Florida’s sexiest, steamiest and most hysterical fundraiser! The show ran for years inside the Paradise Theater at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and was voted South Florida’s #1 event three years in a row! The evening is a one night only traipse through the world of Tantalizing Temptations, Titillating Temptresses and Torrid Testosterone, and features local performers and community members, performing a night of burlesque, hot steamy dance routines, and comedy! Our performers leave it all onstage just for you. The night is an 18 and older event.
