HOT Stuff

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla. is the first casino in the country to offer Aruze Gaming’s Lucky Roulette. The new machine, with eight stations, is located in the casino’s new gaming space as part of the $1.5 billion property-wide expansion. Seminole Casino Coconut Creek will also offer Lucky Roulette beginning next week. Considered a “hybrid roulette” game, Lucky Roulette combines classic mechanical elements with innovative projection mapping technology.  The HD projector displays high-resolution graphics of the roulette wheel on to a spinning mechanical wheel. The result is a beautiful, crisp, hyper-realistic 3-D visual experience that melds the appeal of a traditional roulette wheel with vibrant graphics that significantly enhance the gaming experience.

This is HOT

Actor Taron Egerton got my attention in 2014 when he starred in Kingsman: The Secret Service, and then again in 2017 in the sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle. In February of this year I was on a cruise and got to see Robin Hood (came out in 2018) where he once again impressed me. However, in Rocketman, he has gotten my respect as an actor, and my prediction that this sexy man will one day win an Academy Award. His portrayal of Elton John is breathtaking.

I was glued to the screen from the moment the movie started and I am definitely going to see this movie again (which is something I rarely do).

Rocketman is an epic musical fantasy about the incredible human story of Elton John’s breakthrough years. The film follows the fantastical journey of transformation from shy piano prodigy Reginald Dwight into international superstar Elton John. This inspirational story – set to Elton John’s most beloved songs and performed by star Taron Egerton – tells the universally relatable story of how a small-town boy became one of the most iconic figures in pop culture. Rocketman also stars Jamie Bell as Elton’s longtime lyricist and writing partner Bernie Taupin, Richard Madden as Elton’s first manager, John Reid, and Bryce Dallas Howard as Elton’s mother Sheila Farebrother.

In addition, the album ‘Rocketman: Music From The Motion Picture’ (which was released on May 24 on Interscope Records is amazing), which sees celebrated producer and composer Giles Martin re-interpreting and re-imagining Elton’s iconic hits, tailoring the music specifically to support the narrative of the movie, with a truly show stopping vocal performance from Rocketman lead actor Taron Egerton.
