In the Iconic tradition of this pageant system, the board decided to host the event at The Venue Ft Lauderdale located at 2345 Wilton Drive – Wilton Manors, FL. The backdrop of this beautiful ballroom will transform you into the majesty of Pageant Competition and Entertainment. The reigning Florida F.I. Court Noel Leon at Large, Carlos Rogue M.E. and the legend herself Dana Douglas, Supreme will pass the titles on to the new court while entertaining you throughout the night. Contestants will compete for 3 different titles:  At Large, ladies over 225 lbs, Male Entertainer, and Supreme, ladies over 45 years of age. Competition begins with evening gowns, sportswear and talent for the ladies, formal wear, swimwear and talent for the guys. All contestants will be up close and personal in on-stage interview.

Joining us as well will be Kylee Hunter the reigning Miss Florida F.I. who will relinquish her title in the 48th anniversary Miss Florida F.I. Pageant that will be held July 13th, 2020 at The Venue. So be sure to mark your calendars for that historic date. Kylee recently relocated here to South Florida so this is a great opportunity to meet her and get to experience her style, grace, beauty, and enthusiasm.

The Miss Florida F.I. at Large pageant celebrates the 30th anniversary of Joey Brooks Miss Florida F.I. at Large 1989. This system in its entirety recognizes the female impersonators who historically created and set the path for female impersonation today. The formers in the system makes up some of the most well known, respected and talented true “legends” in the industry. We also pay tribute to two former Miss Florida F.I. at Large favorites who passed on this year, Miami’s own Lola Lush and the grand ole gal of the south, Orlando legend from Kentucky, Carmella Marcella Garcia. Both of these ladies played an integral role in this pageant, many other nationally recognized pageants and in our entertainment communities. We acknowledge the impacts they made to our LGBTQ vision for gender equality, acceptance and importance.
