ArtServe Launches a Six-Part Virtual Event Series

Focusing on Artists’ Professional Development And Business Management Skills.

 

Helping artists develop the business skills necessary to navigate through today’s uncharted economic turmoil due to the COVID-19 crisis will be the focus of ArtServe’s upcoming six-part “Smart Talk” series, starting now through July 9. 

Part of the “ArtServe Live” programming designed to continue ArtServe’s mission throughout the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, each of the weekly Thursday “Smart Talk” segments focuses on professional development and business management for the arts industry. Jean and Iggy Font, who operate Warehouse 4726, an artist-run studio space in Miami, will serve as event 

Moderators. 

 

The six events are: 

 

On Thursday, June 4 at 6pm they present “The Management” featuring: Tim Davis (New City Players), Tabatha Mudra (1310 Bandits), and moderated by Jean and Iggy of Font Squared. 

 

On Thursday, June 11 at 6pm they present “Cost vs. Profit” featuring: Erin Bassett (Erin Bassett Artistry), Dan Bondroff (fine artist), and moderated by Jean and Iggy of Font Squared. 

 

On Thursday, June 18 at 6pm they present “Social Media Secrets” featuring: Angela Yungk and Jessie Prugh (Art Hive Magazine), and moderated by Jean and Iggy of Font Squared. 

 

On Thursday, June 25 at 6pm they present “Websites For Artists That Generate Sales” featuring: Michael Schneider and Octavio Guzman (Pace Advertising), and moderated by Jean and Iggy of Font Squared. 

 

On Thursday, July 2 at 6pm they present “Photographing & Archiving Your Artwork” featuring: Greg Knott (Pop Art Photographer), and moderated by  Jean and Iggy of Font Squared. 

 

On Thursday, July 9 at 6pm they present “Hanging A Show – Do’s and Dont’s” featuring: Taryn Nicoll (The Frank Art Gallery), Sophie Bonet (Artserve, Inc.), and moderated by Jean and Iggy of Font Squared.
